My body positive page is going steadily okay, but I’d love to get it up there a little more.
I’m sure a bunch of you have the usual fad diet and ridiculous eating regime posts come up on your Facebook feed telling you that you should change to get that “perfect” body and if you’re anything like me, you’re probably over seeing that and the plethora of other body bashing junk posted on there.
I’m making a stand. Instead of telling everyone how they should look and that they aren’t good enough unless they change how they look, I want to encourage the users of Facebook to be comfortable in their own skin, to learn to love and accept their bodies and any size, shape, colour, race and to only do what you want to do in regards to your body. It is YOUR body after all!

So please, join me in this and like my page. You’ll love all the positive stuff on your feed and you won’t be sorry you liked it!

I have been on the larger side most of my life, and while I would like to lose a bit of weight/tone up a bit (mostly so it’s not so difficult to find clothes I like, most size 18 clothing is pretty unattractive) I am happy being curvy :)

Some people can be rude like that and can make other people really uncomfortable.
Just quietly let them know that you see them staring and that you’re not comfortable with it. In saying that though, that alone doesn’t mean that he just wants to be with you for your curves.
My suggestion is, if you want to find someone who you know will be interested in more than your bust, go on dates with them for a while, get to know them and just take your time with it. Usually, someone who just wants sex won’t want to continue dating, whereas, someone who is genuinely interested in you will be more inclined to hang around :)

Responding to the question about "chubby chasing" and it being a bad thing: I disagree. For one thing I never really had much of a preference in women's physiology until I started larger girls (Well, not larger than me, I have to admit, though I myself am on the larger side, not so big by the standards of where I grew up, but you might be able to call me chubby) and became entranced with curvy girls that way. Not that I don't still like all types of women, curvy and BBW are just a preference.

I don’t think the OP was insinuating that “chubby chasing” was a bad thing at all. I think they’re just curious to how others would feel if someone wanted to be with them for the absolute sole purpose of their body size (I think.)

I do understand where you’re coming from. I never really had a “preference” per se, with men. But when I started dating my current partner, I realised that I am a sucker for chubby guys. That’s not to say I think all other men are unattractive, because they aren’t. I’m just extremely attracted to my chubby guy :)

I will say this, I prefer chubby girls for a lot of reasons, but I love all women. Even though I may say to a girl, wow your curves are killer, that would never be the only reason I'd go out with her. We would have to have some chemistry, some things in common, and a pretty strong personality.

I like to think there are a lot of people out there who aren’t shallow and who date people because of reasons other than their appearance.

So now I've started following both your blogs, and much love :) I understand you're in a relationship, but thought I could pose this question to you and all followers: how do you feel when someone hits on you specifically because of/referring to your curves? ie sexy curves, etc. To me it feels weird and chubby/bbw chasing and not positive and would love to know how others see this. And thanks for your blog! <3

Hmm, I personally have never really been in that situation. I guess my being chubby was one of the reasons my partner wanted to be with me, but it was never “I want to be with you because you’re chubby.” I know he’d love me if I were about 20kg lighter as well. But no one has ever hit on me and used my curviness as a pivotal point of wanting to be with me.
I’ll post this and see what some of the followers think :)
