Thanks for the message :) I have the same story, big hips, small waist and small boobs, I’ve grown to like my boobs, but you’re right, it can be a little weird sometimes hahah. I hope you do post a photo, but please make sure it goes with the terms (no shots of JUST boobs or butt)!! I hope we see you soon!
It is offensive to every single person out there who harmed themselves and didn’t feel the need to show everyone. Please report the blog to Tumblr staff.
Please reblog this so that others can do the same.
This blog is not helping anyone, it’s full of triggers and it is not something anyone needs to see. The people who post on these blogs need serious medical help, they do not need to publicly broadcast their self harm. This is so wrong.
I am not, nor will I ever be a size zero.
In fact, I wear mostly Large and Extra Large sized clothing.
I’ve always been the “bigger” sister, the chubbier friend, the only non-athletic one in my family of pageant girls, models, and state champions.
But you know what? I’m finally happy with my body, with every curve. I’d rather be where I am right now than starve myself and stay up all night counting calories like I used to…and I think that’s perfectly okay. I don’t need to have pencil thin legs to be beautiful. My body and all its imperfections is incredible.
Thanks a lot for your help :D
I think some of the 50’s inspired swimmers available at the moment are excellent, there are a fair few styles available and I think they look wonderful on fuller figures. Also, you could try a sarong, but they are a little difficult to deal with if you go swimming with one on. Truthfully, don’t worry too much about cellulite, there are very few women who don’t have at least one dimple! Good luck on the swimsuit search and I hope you find something!!
Thank you :D
My first port of call is always Ebay, there’s tonnes of great stuff on there :D City Chic around the Summer season often have some beautiful swimmers as well.
A few Summers ago I got a cute Tankini from Kmart, they have some great swimmers too, which are usually a lot less expensive than some other places. Also, have a look on HipsAndCurves.com.
Good luck! And thank you again :D
Summer can often be a tough time for some curvier girls, I understand where you’re coming from.
There are plenty of amazing swimmers available for girls of your size, and above, try looking online, there are even Bodycon swimmers. As for confidence, don’t compare yourself to your friends. All of us are different, and we are all gorgeous, it doesn’t matter what size or shape we are, but you should never compare yourself to other people. Look out for a swimsuit that you feel great in and that you think looks good, when you feel good, you look good, own it! Just be happy with how you look and don’t compare your body to others. Rock what you have :)
I just wanted to talk to you pretty girls about something. So I’ve always been a curvy girl, but with small breasts and a smaller upper body, but with big thighs and a big tummy. For a long time I’ve thought that nobody would ever find me attractive and sexually desirable, but only lately I found out I was wrong. I lost my virginity at 21 to my friend, who obviously has nothing against my looks, quite on the contrary.
It’s an amazing feeling to realise that he doesn’t mind but still finds me immensely attractive. I can tell you, with the right person, the insecurities just vanish away. It’s a great feeling.
Sometimes I try to make myself look pretty in hopes that I’ll feel pretty. I never really do, but I hope one day I will. I like to think that everyone is beautiful in their own unique way, but I somehow have a really difficult time believing that about myself. Like I’m actually something special in the scheme of things… :P
“I found your web site searching for “Chafing” We have found the best solution and would love to send you a free samle for your blog review. We are ThighGlide.us”
Thank you so much :D
Anytime! Thank you :D
If you’re just starting out in the relationship, it can be hard, but give it time. He already loves your body, as you’ve said, so use this to help yourself love it! It is a little hard, but you will get there. If you want to love your body, just change your mindset instead of saying you don’t like how *random body part* looks, say the opposite, find things about yourself every day that you love about your body and add to it each day. It’s easy once you start loving your body. He already loves the way you look and I doubt very much that that would change if you were to be naked in front of him. If you want to be comfortable around him, work on it and you’ll get there :)
I feel your pain, I really do.
I spoke to my grandmother about this and of all things she suggested personal lubricant… I tried it and it did work, but I’m more a fan of cornstarch powder.
However, when wearing dresses, you can’t always stop and put on some powder wherever you are, but I found a way of stopping it from happening!
I bought some shapewear, the look like a pair of bike shorts, but not as short, the finish about an inch and a half above my knee, so they aren’t noticeable under a dress or skirt. I wore them over stockings (I can’t wear stockings without fear of chafing either) and it was even a warm day and I was out and about for the most part of it and there was not one sign of chafe! I was so pleased. Even if you can’t get ahold of shapewear in that style, I got mine from Kmart for $10-$15, try some bike shorts, they need to be a bit tight so you won’t notice them under a dress or skirt.
I hope this helps!! Good luck! :)
You’re still pretty young, there’s plenty of time :)
You will find someone, there are plenty of men out there who just love a woman with curves, I promise you that!
Here is my success story;
I was 19 when I met my boyfriend, I literally was not looking for a relationship with anyone, and I always say how Mitch (my boyfriend) pretty much fell out of the sky.
We met online and we were talking once and he told me he liked women with a bit more meat (not in so many words) and to be honest I was incredibly surprised, no one I had ever met had said that to me. We started talking more and he asked me out, to which I said yes and eventually we made a date to meet up, I didn’t feel anxious or nervous at all.
When I found him I felt nervous instantly, but I felt something else as well.
We spent all day together and saw a movie. This had cemented the fact that we would be in a relationship with one another.
I was his first girlfriend, and although he’s not my first boyfriend, his love and tenderness has made me forget the petty, meaningless relationships I’d been in.
I had always been extremely self concious of my body, but the longer I spent with him, the more comfortable I was with him, he loved my body, he looked past my scars and imperfections.
I have no problem being completely naked around him.
We’ve been together three years this year, the best and longest relationship I have ever been in. He loves me for who I am and he has made me love my body the way he does.
You will find someone, I never thought I would be so lucky to have a man like Mitch, but trust me, there is someone for everyone :)
24 years old. Don’t know what I weigh, I stopped like two years ago because of eating disorder I’m trying to beat.
A Us size 14.
You are all amazingly beautiful!
Please message me, I’m having trouble finding it >.< Maybe you could email me the link or something!!
Sorry for all the hassle!
Body image is tough. You need to be there for your girlfriend, tell her she’s beautiful in every way and that you love her and her body, tell her that she shouldn’t change and that she isn’t ugly. Everyone has beauty and they need to feel that they are beautiful. Be gentle with her. Maybe look through some lingerie and clothing catalogues together and pick out some nice things. Lingerie will, nine times out of ten, make a woman feel sexy. Just be there for her and encourage her to love the way she looks and that she isn’t ugly.
200lbs of pure beauty ;]
I think we’ve talked about this before. I’m almost certain that if you log out of Tumblr and visit the GPC page to submit it allows you to submit anonymously, as you’re not signed in to Tumblr. Give that a try and see how it goes :)
To the nervous eater - carrot and celery sticks; the crunch is super satisfying and you can munch those bad-boys by the pound.
I’m sure you’re not the only one, I’m almost certain there are plenty of others who know how you feel. It might be beneficial to see your doctor, but maybe try occupying your hands and mind if you get nervous or worried, write it down, or draw something, do anything that will keep your hands and mind active like crosswords or sudoku or something like that :) If that fails, go and speak to your doctor, I’m sure they’ll be able to give you some advice.
I hope this helped :)
