You’re so welcome!

Hi I'm Jess and yes i am a full-figured woman. I love your blog it makes me feel happy that there are people out there who dont look at woman think that their size isnt good enough. Too skinny or too fat or whatever the case may be. I know it took me years to accept my body, concidering i have a skinny mother who was never happy with the way i looked. But my friends and my ex-boyfriend have always told me how beautiful i am inside and out. Even though it may seem hard to believe their words at times it makes me happy that my friends and others can see through my size to the person i really am. I may not be the skinniest or smartest or prettiest girl in the world but i am me and i am happy with that. I am happy with just being me even if others arent. So thank you for your blog it shows me that no matter what your size you are beautiful. Makes me think better about myself. -Jess

It’s my pleasure :)
Thank you for this message.
I’m happy that this blog has been helpful for you :)

To that one anon that says now a days "men prefer curves" or thicker women... Everyone is beautiful, but that statement isn't true, because from all the guys that I follow on tumblr, they only reblog photos of girls with flat stomachs. I know it gets you mad, but its honestly the truth. Even if people don't want to admit it. All women should be appreciated, but it only seems like those with the "perfect" body are the ones noticed.

Woman are sexy, powerful, strong and amazing beings, each and every one of us.
Men are sexy, strong, powerful and amazing, each and every one of them.
Some men like thick girls, some girls like bigger guys, some guys like petite women, some girls like slim guys, we’re all individuals and we’re all beautiful in many different ways :)

Anon reminded me of one of the most beautiful things I ever heard. Now I couldn't find the EXACT quote so bare with me but if anyone is interested there is a really good documentary (on instant que netflix) called America the Beautiful about how the fashion industry and media affects what we think is physically attractive and what isn't. In the film Eve Ensler of "The Vagina Monologues" was speaking to a woman from Africa and asked if there was anything about her body she didn't like; that she would change. The African woman responded "Body? My body? Look at these hands! Beautiful hands! Look at these legs; strong! I could hold a man all night with these legs!" Eve mentioned she'd want to change some things about her own body and the African woman told her "What's wrong with your body? Look at that tree over there. Do you think that tree is beautiful?" "Yes" Eve said. "Now look at that other tree, is that one beautiful?" "Yes, it is very beautiful." "Does that tree over there mean that that tree isn't beautiful? I am a tree, you are a tree! We are all trees. Love your tree!" Anon, we are all trees... we are all unique and there is always someone out there who will find specific trees beautiful. Skinny can be beautiful as well as fat. Curvy and soft as well as straight and hard even large and jiggly can be sexy. Appreciate the trees and their beauty. :)

That truly is beautiful and incredibly inspirational :) Thank you so much for sharing it :)

That person is a moron! I have been called fat and I have been called curvy... Like the saying goes beauty is in the eye of the beholder so just because they don't like it doesn't mean they have a right to inflict their views on other people. Gosh everyone is beautiful, the word fat shouldnt be used so negatively. Lovely blog btw! xxx

Testify!
And thank you, miss :)

Meant to put nonskinny. Lulz. Darn iPhone is a pain to write stuff with.

Haha no worries doll, I though that’s what you meant :)

In regards to those anons, everyone is beautiful. For one with almost 7 BILLION diverse people who populate this Planet it's safe to say that everyone is beautiful to someone with as many physical and emotional preferences that help us determine who or what we find beautiful. So, you know what? Us skinny "fat" girls are fine with your negative judgements because we have found the confidence to love ourselves. We are beautiful. We can rock runways and red carpets with a "FUCK YOU, BIGOTS!" smile.

Thank you, beautiful :)
You are so so right:)

Jul 12, 2011
To whoever said " not everyone is beautiful" You are such a sad bastard. Everyone IS beautiful. Heck even Hitler has a beauty in his appearance. Someone may not have the most gracious personality or have the most ideal physic but if you were put even in a room with someone you're highly un-attracted you WILL be able to look at the finer details and reconsize a sense of beauty with in them. Heck. Stick me in a room and chain me up to the person I hate most, I can still find some beauty within this said person. Sure I wish they would die in a fucken whole and that the maggots spit them up, but that's beside the point. Everyone haas an essance of beauty in them, so don't be a fool and be lacking it yourself.

Thank you Maggz :)

If this page bothers you so much, close it. There are bigger things to worry about, Anon. And why does it always have to come down to being witty? You are the one with the problem, not us or the moderator. So you are fighting a loosing battle.

Thanks baby :)

Jul 12, 2011
And you have disarming wit...

And you have courage up the wazoo.
Go off anon and I might actually take you seriously.

Jul 12, 2011
Ahem, it also says "Gentlemen" not "anon little boys".... So walk on.

Thank you, lovely :)

Not everyone is beautiful. That opinion is so disgustingly naive.

Yeah, you have a shocking personality.

I have been having this discussion, too-- about curvy women vs. "fat" women. I hate the argument altogether. Recently, I came across a post that read: Skinny girls are just butthurt because society is starting to prefer curvy women. And first of all, I think that a stupid statement to begin with. Men prefer all kinds of women-- since the beginning of time. It gets me fucking so pissed. I have a friend who is a skinny minnie, and she's fucking beautiful, too.

Everyone is beautiful, I have said this time and time again.
It’s just close-minded idiots like that last anon that really piss me off.
If they don’t like seeing what they call “fat” women, they can go elsewhere.

You’re completely right though!

Jul 12, 2011
if it's a 'gentelmen love curves' blog why do you also post fat girls? some of them are not curvy they are fat!!!

And you’re a coward for not showing your face!
I’ve had this discussion so many times, read the goddam description and keep your opinion to yourself.
None of us here want to hear it, you pathetic child.

the person who said something about bgh causing breast growth is definitely right. i'm 16 and i've been a d cup since i started highschool and when i was young all i would eat was dairy. i always wondered why i had big breasts when all the women in my family were a or b cups when they were my age until i heard about the hormones being passed on into milk

Thank you :)
I know what you mean about height, I’m 5”3 haha. But who cares! Rock what you got, girl :)

Me again. Where can you find cute lingerie? I WANT SOME! I got a breast reduction in October, so now I'm just dumb about what kind to wear.

Well, I haunt ebay, seriously, I’m the little troll under the bridge there.
They have some great plus size lingerie for pretty good prices, but if you don’t mind paying a little more, check out hipsandcurves.com :) They are fabulous!

HI, I'm Summer. I'm just starting out on Tumblr and came across this blog. I am in love with it. I, myself, am not a twig, or tone, or skinny, or any of that. I want to know how these women have such confidence.

Speaking from experience, you need to love yourself and your body :)
Dress to suit your shape and curves, which I find a great morale booster, and you’ll look awesome too :)
Also, I spend a lot of my time looking through plus size lingerie, corsets, garters and stockings etc, when I wear stuff like that it makes me feel sexy, even if you don’t have a man in your life, spoil yourself with some gorgeous lingerie, every girl needs to have some :D
And be happy with how you look, don’t let anyone tell you how you should feel about your body, it’s your body! You are they only one who can have an opinion on it! Others might like to put their two cents in, but when it comes down to it, you make the decisions about your body :)

I hope this has helped! And welcome to the wonderful world of Tumblr!

In reply to a comment you made asking someone about back problems due to a larger chest, from what I've been told is that often it is not the weight of your chest that gives you back aches, it's actually just bad posture. I'm not saying you're slumping, but perhaps there's something off about how you sit at the computer or at school/work, it can be tons of things. I mean, I have an F cup, I'm 20, and I've been well endowed since grade 8, and the only time my back actually hurts is if I slept in a weird position during the entire night or a really uncomfortable bed, which is only normal. I'm not saying I'm right, or that's always the case but it's been mentioned that it could be why. Regardless, if you're getting back aches, get that checked out! :)

That is true too :)
And you’re right, if you are having back trouble, it is very important to get it checked out!!

Hi, I just wanted to comment on the whole boobs thing. The first person that commented said it was wrong to say large breast size is caused by obesity, because there are healthy big busted people. That statement made me feel really sad and uncomfortable. There are healthy obese people.(and not healthy obese people still deserve respect) The last time I weighed myself I was 214lbs, which makes me obese. And every pound of that it beautiful and pretty healthy. (and I have 40ds for the record and US dress size 18/20) I know their intention was not to hurt anyone, I just had to say something because it has been bothering me all day. But yes, it is a wrong statement to say that all large busted people are plus size. There are tons of small large busted people and large small busted people so, yeah...

I honestly hope that comment didn’t hurt you!
Of course there are healthy obese people!! I actually hate that word >.< I am really sorry if you were upset.
Thank you for your message, doll :)

I saw your question to another girl if her DD's hurt her back. I can't speak for her, of course, but I have DDD's and my back hurts almost constantly, and I have huge dips in my shoulders where the straps of my bra sits. Not fun, but they look good when I want them to. :D

I’m jealous of your amazing breasts!
Mind you, as I said before my littlies give me pain as it is hahah.

The growth in breast size ( even among males) is probably caused by the BGH (bovine growth hormone) that they are injecting cows with to produce more milk. We have much of our DNA in common with cows, so we are also being affected by the hormones in the drug. :\

Poor cows :(

Yeah genetics does play a roll in breast size, well at least in my family ! All the women from my mom's mom's side are under 5'5 and size D and bigger ! Except my mom who's 5'9 and didn't have boobs until she had kids. I got my Gramma's genes and I'm 5'3 w/ almost DD haha!

Please don’t think I’m being rude, but do they hurt your back?
Mine are only C-D and they can put some strain on my back at times.
I’m just curious is all :)

Jul 9, 20111 note
I saw someone post the comment about diet affecting breast sizes and I remembered I read a study about this before (though I forget where so I can't find the article again), they studied Asian women, and found those who had a more typical Asian diet had smaller breasts than those who ate a more American diet (I think it was more red meat was one of the big factors they mentioned.) When they compared the two the American diet gave the girls about a 2 cup average bigger breasts

But genetics would come into this too, I warrant.
Also, most Asian women do have very slender figures, American/Australian etc women are built differently as well, so that would contribute significantly also.
But the article does sound like an interesting read :)

There are so many factors that contribute to breast size and all need to be considered :)

Jul 9, 20111 note
Also not starting a debate haha, but Im a chubster G cup gal who was a C at 12 and wasnt allowed* junk or even most meat as a kid until I was 18 (it was fine and healthy) I blame my boobs on genes but I think the Pill made them hugggeee. So its another modern thing. But I do agree with the not all bigger gals have boobs and not all nbigger gals witthhh boobs have them because of weight. . Hell I was teeny with boobs until I hit 15 xx *If I wanted it, it was allowed but my mum pushe healthier stuff and we loved and still do love it xx

Your statement is also very true, genetics play a huge part in our make up, including our breasts, my mum has medium breasts, but her mum’s were and are still pretty big, mine are quite small, even after going on the pill and gaining weight, my boobs are probably the only part of me that doesn’t get bigger if I do gain weight >.<

All of these factors do contribute to the size of our breasts, so no-one is wrong here :) only the people who were blaming the incline in larger breasted women on obesity. Silly, close-minded people.

Jul 9, 20112 notes
I just saw the question someone submitted about the average cup size going up and how people were saying that it's because of obesity...honestly, a big part of it is because of the hormones and steroids in the meats that we eat. I'm not trying to spark a debate over organic vs non-organic meat, but when you have hormones in food, and people, especially children who are in the process of growing and developing, are eating it it's going to affect them. It's kind of like how gaining a cup size is a possible side effect of taking birth control. And to be honest, I weigh about 240 pounds, and I wear a smaller C cup (or a B cup in plus size bras because the cups on those things are oddly small!) and was a B up until sometime over the last year. Not all fat people have huge breasts and the people who think that that's the main reason why bra size has gone up are complete morons. PS-I just discovered your blog a few days ago, and spent forever going through the whole thing...I love it and thanks for the inspiring pictures!

I do agree with you about the hormones in food.
We were even told in school that eating lots of chicken encouraged unnatural breast growth!
So what did the majority of girls in my year do? You guessed it.
You provided a very good point here :)

Hehe and thank you very much, I’m glad you found us :3

Soooo, I was browsing through Facebook. Someone made a comment that was this: "The average cup size in the U.S. is a 36DD 10 years ago it was a 34B" And someone said " That's because America is getting more & more obese!" Some people agreed on that shit! To me, that answer is so ignorant! I just saw some of ur post of healthy beautiful girls. I know someone who is pretty bust & healthy, & beautiful. My mother was a size 14 with 40DD cup. And I am also a 40DD! Just because ur bust size is a DD doesn't mean your obese. Damn! Ignorance can go so far. Any thoughts on what u think about this???

I don’t agree that cup sizes have gone up because of weight.
In some cases that may be so, but the average woman may be quite small and have a large bust.
Being “bigger” isn’t the cause of a bigger bust all of the time, I am a bigger girl, as stated before and I actually have quite small breasts for my size, which is proof alone that being bigger doesn’t always mean bigger breasts.
A lot of curvier women do have larger breasts, but that isn’t always the case.
What that person said was, indeed, very ignorant, you’re right!
