This is me… All of me. I’ve submitted before. And now I’m a red head I thought I would again.
Was going to try to lose weight but after taking this… Maybe I’ll just be happy with me as I am for now!

Hail the curves, awesome blog! There is a reason why old classic paintings featured full figured women who even were shown with a bit of a belly. They embody all that womanhood and femininity is about. Soft, curvy, delicate, classy and sophisticated. As a gentleman that's what I prefer in a woman, not the hard, skinny, if not boyish body that is passed of as the "standard" these days. Keep up the nice work!

This was 1 year ago, since then I have gained 30lbs. I use to hate how I looked, but through friends and the power of the universe I have realized that I am beautiful no matter what my body looks like. I believe every girl should love who they are, god knows I do.
Yes, I am trying to lose weight. But I am doing it simply to improve my healthy I am 5.6 weighing 210, but i should be down to 180.

hipsandcurves.com is one of my favourites, citychic.com is also good, but that may only be an Australian clothing supplier, look into them though. Also, as I always say, ebay.com cannot be overlooked. I’ve found some gorgeous clothing on there :D
Thank you so much for this. This year I've been really struggling weight-wise because of all the shit society's promoting about thin people. I've teetered on the edge of an ED for a while (though I'm still well within the normal weight range). Tonight I came across a proana blog and I thought that would be it; I felt so horrible and disgusting compared to everything. I found this and I literally feel so much better. I mayn't be skinny, but that's okay. :)
I’m glad you came across GPC before you looked to much into that pro anorexia blog. Those blogs are really bad IMO and I’m so happy you found us instead :)

STOP HATING HATERS! We're bigger than you but we also enjoy life too and there is absolutely nothing wrong wit it! We are not pressured by what society says to be beautiful. Not that there's anything wrong with being thin, but if we choose to be bigger then why do you bash us for being who we are!? This blog is to celebrate what we bigger girls are proud of. If you don't like pro-CHUBBY blogs, then just GTFO! Easy as that! No need to hate!

Hey, I hate chubby girls! It is an opinion that I, for some reason, want to share with a pro chubby blog. And because I am so awesome, I will do it on anon so everyone knows exactly who I aren't because my opinion is so validated and everyone must hear it. Bullshit. Listen, if people want your opinion on such matters, they would ask, if you even have any friends to have that question put to you. No-one here cares about it, so stop sharing it, anon, as we all have different opinions than yours.

To the anon: I get what you are trying to say, that being overweight doesn't=healthy, but guess what, there's a good way to articulate what you are trying to say and then a dick way. You, dear anon, did it the DICK way. If you want to make the point that people should concentrate on being healthy despite their looks, go right ahead, but if you are just trying to make us "curvy" or as you would say "fat" girls to just feel bad about us, go to a thinspo blog dick weed. I follow both this blog and others like it as well as thinspo blogs, mostly because I'm struggling to accept my body and because I can appreciate beauty in all sizes... the funny thing is, they both receive about the same amount of hate mail... as women, we just can't win and it drives me crazy.. I'm so tired of the negativity shoved on us about our bodies!!! It's hard enough sometimes to feel good enough for yourself so I don't understand why anyone would want to make it harder.. =/
Some people just like to think they know everything, and like to try and ruin people’s happiness… That’s all I can put it down to.
I agree with you though, beauty SHOULD be appreciated in all forms, sizes, colours etc. It’s unfortunate that not all people can appreciate it.

Just be yourself and be confident, but don’t wait for someone to just come along and sweep you off your feet, that doesn’t always happen, if it does, awesome, but if you want to find someone special, you need to be on the look out :)

TO THE HATER ANON! I am a AUS aize 16 and I work out 5-6 times a week and play basketball. I eat healthy and don't smoke or do drugs.... Tell me I'm unhealthy? I dare you. Yes i'm curvy, and medically deemed fat but i am not unhealthy. Next time you want to spout you ignorant vile opinions at people, take a real hard look at yourself. 3 words "Stones, Glass Houses"

Yeah gentlemen prefer curves and girls with curves are nice...but it seems you forget that FAT girls are not curvy nor attractive and are very much as unhealthy as the anorexic models and encourage people to be lazy and fat. Some of your pics do just this, as it is clear that you do not draw a line between what is acceptable and not. You would post any fat girl and with the excuse of being open to different body tupes, you encourage people to be fat.

Hey, I just wanted to leave a message on here to say well done! I just found this blog and I adore it, I wear a UK size ten or twelve myself, and naturally (like every woman in my family) thick built. It’s taken me a while to be comfortable with my body, and I struggled for years to try and get skinny and it’s just not worth it! I’m healthy and curvy and that’s that, and it’s taken me years to be able to say that :) I so love blogs like this because the norm on Tumblr seems to be those ‘thinspo’ blogs - and looking at those girls with unattainably tiny figures really puts a downer on women built like the women on these blogs. You’ve made a wee niche on the internet for those of us who don’t look like twigs nor aspire to do so, and I love you for it.
And before the haters start flocking - I have nothing against skinny girls, athletic girls, whatever, every single one of them has beauty. But as a post before me has said, they have the corner on the media; why shouldn’t we have a tiny wee piece of tumblr?
